Uncertain times due to a PANDEMIC.

We definitely live in an interesting time. The Coronavirus has attacked our world and things may never be the same. Schools are shut down, work is remote only, and they are predicting a 20-25% unemployment rate. We are only two weeks in and there are now 5000 cases in the US and climbing. Half of the people I know think it is a joke. Others think life is ruined for ever. Others aren’t really sure what to think. It is supposed to affect and really only hurt the old, but other countries are starting to prove that isn’t really the case any more.

As a small business owner and father to four, I am concerned.

Those that can adapt and create opportunities when others stop moving will do better. Keep doing something, anything really, in a positive direction everyday. Take positive action to help survive.

Today I cut about $20,000 in monthly expenses and sent notes to most of the founders we do business with - wishing them well. Now to figure out just how much business we might lose.

Part of me wondered what the world would be like without sports. We are feeling it now. It is sad that so much of what I was working on with the high school kids has now been stopped - completely out of my control. Time to make new plans.

Will and I now workout together and we are looking at other ways to stay active.

Stay strong.
